Trame Vibrational Therapy (or 'La Trame') was developed by physicist Patrick Burensteinas in Europe in 1990, and is beginning to make waves in the Western world. With approximately 300 practitioners worldwide, Canada is home to roughly 15% of those trained in Trame; as most are situated in Quebec and the East Coast of Canada, Era is Kamloops' first and only certified practitioner... although that will hopefully grow into many more as word of this incredible modality spreads. Given it's high rate of successful results, it is only a matter of time; already, it has created a buzz throughout many communities within the Kamloops area, as more and more people come to experience Trame therapy for themselves.
How does it work?
Each person has a unique 3-dimensional blueprint (or grid, or framework, or Trame) to their body, on which essential information travels throughout us. At birth, this information travels freely and uninterrupted; however, as we age and experience things like conditioning, accidents/illnessess/injuries, and trauma, our inability to fully process this information creates blockages on the Trame, which manifests in the form of pain, anxiety, sleep disturbances, digestive issues, etc.
Imagine a river flowing downstream. If we were to place a boulder in the middle of the river, the water would then have to go around the boulder, altering the direction of the current, disrupting the ecosystem, and eroding the banks of the shore. Now imagine pushing the boulder forward inch by inch, eventually rolling it right off the cliff of a waterfall. The river is free to flow unencumbered once more, and balance is restored.
Trame functions in a similar way. By working with the body's vibrations, Trame works to dislodge the blockages that have accumulated in the system, allowing information to flow freely and go where it needs to go. It is a hands-on technique that combines principles of alchemy and quantum physics, and creates results at a cellular level. The client lays fully-clothed on a massage table while the practitioner completes a sequence of precise hand positions on the individual's torso, feet, and head. The client will often experience a variety of sensations during the treatment, and it is quite common to notice results after only one session (although typically 5-8 treatments are recommended to restore the body back to its optimal-functioning performance).
The treatment itself lasts between 35-45 minutes and is administered once every 3-6 weeks. Allow for 1.5 hours for your first visit to include an intake consult, then one hour for each subsequent appointment. It is wonderfully relaxing, and the results speak for themselves. It truly is something that everyone stands to benefit from and should experience for themselves!
